Fisher Sets Program Record at NCAA Indoor Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Track and Field team’s Arianna Fisher set a new program best mark in the triple jump while Roberto Vilches earned First Team All-American honors in the high jump as the senior pairing completed the year at the NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fisher posted a new Missouri record of 14.06m (46-1.50) to claim sixth in her event. The senior bested her previous top mark of 13.59m (44-7.00) set at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 12, 2022. The finish earned the San Jose, Calif. native First Team All-American honors for the second time in her career.

The jump ranks fourth among American athletes this year, collegiate or professional, and is 19th among all international competition.

Vilches tied for seventh in the high jump clearing 2.18m (7-1.75). The Mexico City, Mexico native claimed his third career First Team All-American honor.
