Conrad Concludes Season at NCAA Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Track and Field’s Christopher Conrad finished 14th in the 800-meter semifinals with a time of 1:49.19 on Wednesday night at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.

The result concludes Conrad’s season. The senior advanced to the title meet with a personal-best time of 1:46.79 during the west preliminary round in May.

The O’Fallon, Ill. native claimed eighth at the SEC Championships in the event after having previously secured third and first-place finishes at the Mt. SAC Relays (April 15) and the Raleigh Relays (March 25), respectively.

It was the second-consecutive appearance in the championship meet for the senior.

Sophia Rivera and Skylar Ciccolini will represent Missouri in the javelin at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
