Columbia Sits 13th in LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup

Cleveland, Ohio – Columbia College sits in 13th place in the 2022-23 NAIA LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup fall standings, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Thursday.
 
Columbia has 187.00 points after a three top-15 finishes in the fall: women’s volleyball (5th place, 73 points), men’s soccer (11th place, 57 points) and women’s soccer (11th place, 57 points).
 
Indiana Wesleyan has accumulated 334.50 points to lead the NAIA standings, while Westmont (249.50), Taylor (233.50), Keiser (230.00) and Marian (223.00) round out the top-five.
 
Columbia sits atop the American Midwest Conference (AMC), which has four teams in the top-75: Columbia (13th), Missouri Baptist (49th), Williams Baptist (69th) and William Woods (73rd).
 
Columbia has finished in the top-50 of the NAIA LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings in each of the last nine years, with top-25 finishes in 2016-17 (25th), 2017-18 (12th) and 2018-19 (24th).
 
The 2022-23 NAIA LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup winter standings will be announced on March 30. 
 
The LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
