Columbia Collects First Win of 2023 Season at CC Spring Invitational

Columbia, Mo. – The Columbia College women’s golf team began their 2023 season with a first-place finish at the CC Spring Invitational on Monday. The Cougars collected a score of 323, 12 strokes ahead of runner-up, Central Methodist (Mo.).

The Cougars produced three top-five finishers which resulted in a three-way tie for third. Emily Strunck, Cassidy McAlpine, and Ashlyn Sanders each recorded a score of 78, while also collecting All-Tournament Team honors.
