Arianna Fisher Breaks Triple Jump School Record

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri track and field saw four current student-athletes and two alumni compete in national championships on Saturday.

Arianna Fisher earned a fourth-place finish in the triple jump, marking a 13.63m / 44-8.75 – a personal best and improvement of her school record (13.57m / 44-6.25)

Ava Curry finished 13th in the javelin (49.20m / 161-5). Former Tiger Avery Carter was 12th in the hammer throw (70.84m / 232-5).

Alumna Karissa Schweizer earned a fourth-place finish in the 1,500m with a clocking of 4:05.40. She’ll also compete in the 5,000m on Sunday.

Atina Kamasi earned a bronze medal in the javelin at the Serbian National Championships on Saturday. She threw a season best of 52.53m / 172-4, also the No. 3 performance in school history.

At the German National Championships, Mara Häusler finished sixth in the triple jump (13.42m / 44-0.5). Ayele Gerken will compete in the long jump at the German meet on Sunday.
