MO State HS Sports

A Note To Our Mizzou Fans Listening Online

Hello, Mizzou Fans and KTGR listeners!

We appreciate your support of the Tigers, and listening to all the football, men’s & women’s basketball, baseball, and Olympic sports games we air every year.

If you live outside Mid-Missouri, however, you may have struggled to hear Missouri games on our streaming feed or the KTGR app… or even been told you are “blacked out” and unable to listen at all.

This is due to a change in policy from the broadcast rightsholder of those games, Learfield IMG College. This season, local affiliates (such as KTGR) must restrict their online feeds during Tiger Network content to only be available within a 75-mile radius of their “city of license,” which in our case is Fulton, MO. That means listeners from outside Mid-Missouri or out of state won’t be able to stream the games through our website or app anymore. You may also have trouble if you are physically located in our listening radius, but your internet provider routes your connection through a server that is outside of that radius.

There is an option for out-of-area listeners to still follow along online! Go to the Mizzou Network section of MUTigers.com and find the live event you want to listen to on that page. Click on that event (which should say it is “Audio Only”), and it should be available in the player at the top of the page. We understand this may be an inconvenience for you, but it’s the only option available at the moment due to current policy. We hope to be able to stream all Tiger Network content online at KTGR.com again in the future.

Of course, you can still hear us talking about the Mizzou sports you love on The Big Show weekdays from 4-6 pm CT… that will always be available on our web stream and app.

Thank you for being a listener of KTGR, and Go Tigers! MIZ!

Sincerely,

Matt Michaels
