2022 Women’s Soccer Schedule Preview

Columbia, Mo. – The Fall 2022 Cougar women’s soccer schedule was officially released today and consists of 17 matches, eight of which are conference contests. The Cougars will host seven of those matches.

Schedule Highlights

• Columbia’s first match is set to take place on August 28 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. against NCAA Division I, Southeast Missouri State University. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
• In the last NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll from December 2021, Columbia ranked No. 15 in the nation. The first 2023 Coaches’ Top 25 Poll is scheduled to be released on Aug. 8.
• The Cougars will take on six Top 25 contenders including No. 11 John Brown (Ark.), No. 12 Indiana Wesleyan and Oklahoma Wesleyan (both tied for twelfth), No. 21 Missouri Valley, No. 22 Benedictine (Kan.), and No. 24 Grace (Ind.). *Ranks based off the most recent Dec. 15, 2021 poll.
• Columbia’s home opener is against Benedictine (Kan.) on Saturday, September 3. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
• The Cougars home slate consists of nationally ranked Missouri Valley, Benedictine (Kan.), and Grace (Ind.).
