2022 Volleyball Schedule Preview

Columbia, Mo. – The 2022 Cougar volleyball schedule has been released, consisting of 33 matches, with 10 American Midwest Conference matchups. Columbia will host 13 home contests, including the Annual Hampton Inn Classic.

 
Schedule Highlights

• Columbia landed a No. 25 national ranking in the Postseason Coaches Top 25 Poll from December 2021. The first 2022 Coaches’ Top 25 Poll is scheduled to be released on Aug. 8.
• The Cougars will open their 2022 season on the road at the Keiser Tournament in West Palm Beach, Fla. August 19-20.
• Columbia will face top teams including 2021 defending National Champions Missouri Baptist, No. 4 Marian (Ind.), No. 7 Viterbo (Wis), No.10 College of Saint Mary (Neb.), No.14 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Montana Tech (tied for 14^th), and No. 22 Grand View (Iowa). *Rankings based off the most recent Dec. 8, 2021 poll.
• The home slate consists of three top-25 opponents: No.1 Missouri Baptist, No.16 Eastern Oregon, No. 24 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).
