Things didn’t go as planned for the Tigers one week after an historic upset.Missouri struggled from the field and never found its footing as they dropped a 61-56 decision to the Mississippi State Bulldogs Sunday afternoon.

The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 6 at any point in the game, but the Tigers could never close the gap, missing several layups.  Morgan Eye did break the single season record for three pointers in the game when she hit her 91st three of the season.

Liane Priede led the Tigers with 14 points in the game and was one of 3 Tigers in double figures.  Bri Kulas and Liz Smith each added 10 points.  Smith led the team with 7 rebounds while Lianna Doty had 4 assists to lead the Tigers.

Missouri falls to 15-9 on the season and is 4-6 in the SEC, placing them in a tie for 8th with Florida.  They’ll be on the road Thursday when they take on Vanderbilt at 7pm.  We’ll have pregame beginning at 6:45pm on your home for Missouri Women’s basketball, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
