Women’s Basketball outruns SEMO

The Mizzou women’s basketball team started the game on an 18-2 run and never looked back Thursday Night.

Behind a career high 26 points from Sydney Crafton, the Tigers smothered the Redhawks 80-51 at Mizzou Arena.

Crafton led all scorers and was one of four Tigers in double figures on the evening.  Bri Kulas had 14, Mattie Stock had 12, and Morgan Eye had 15.  Kulas led the team in rebounding with 8 while Kylie Simmons led the team with 6 assists.

The Redhawks were led by Connor King with 11 points.

Missouri improves to 5-2 on the season with the win. They’ll take this weekend off and welcome Tennessee-Martin to Mizzou Arena next Monday night at 7pm.  We’ll have pregame beginning at 645pm on your home for the Missouri Tigers, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
