Missouri welcomed defending SEC champion Kentucky to Mizzou Arena Sunday and the number 6 Wildcats were who the Tigers thought they were.Kentucky would race to a 15-2 lead before the first media timeout and never look back. They got the lead to as high as 23-4 before the Tigers went on a 9-0 run to close to 23-13, but the Wildcats were too much on their way to a 69-43 win Sunday afternoon.
Sydney Crafton led the Tigers with 11 points in the game. Bri Kulas had 9 points while Liz Smith added 8 points. Crafton also led the team with 9 rebounds. Lianna Doty had 7 assists in the game.
Missouri falls to 12-6 on the season, suffering their first defeat of the season in Mizzou Arena. They’re now 1-3 on the season in the SEC. They’ve got the week off before heading to Oxford, MS to take on the Ole Miss Rebels next Sunday at 2pm.
