Who Is Ready For Blues Hockey?

The NHL training camps are just a few days away from opening. How will the Blues do this year?

The St. Louis Blues are set to open 2013-14 training camp I think this team is the one that will finally make a serious push for the Western Conference title.

*Will the team get a deal done with Alex Pietrangelo? Or will he hold out and miss early game or more?
*How will the David Perron trade play out with Magnus Paajarvi coming in?
*What kind of impact will Derek Roy and Maxim Lapierre have on this team?
*Can Jaroslav Halak stay healthy and live up to high expectations between the pipes?

How will the new Divisions and Conference teams work out?

I think that Halak is more motivated than ever to lock down the top spot in goal. He stayed back in St. Louis all summer and worked with the strength and conditioning coaches. He is also in a contract year and has Brian Elliot and Jake Allen watching from the very close shadows at Scottrade Center. This will be the year that #41 becomes an elite keeper in the NHL.

I see the Blues making it to the Western Conference Finals…Losing to a Chicago team that makes a return trip to the Cup and wins again…ouch, that hurts me to say that but that is my prediction.

This is a very cool (cold actually, ’cause it is ice!).
