Michael Wacha allowed just three hits over six innings, but the Cardinals bullpen allowed the only run of the ballgame as the Cincinnati Reds prevailed 1-0.

Ryan Ludwick’s single led off the seventh and after Billy Hamilton pinch-ran and stole second, Todd Frazier brought him home with a double.

Wacha’s night was topped by Homer Bailey, who allowed two hits over seven innings. The Reds bullpen struck out five of the final six Cardinals batters including Aroldis Chapman who struck out the side in the ninth.

St. Louis will try to get its first win of the series, Wednesday, with coverage at 5:10 PM on KTGR.
