Tigers Swept for Second Straight Day

LSU scored early and often at Taylor Stadium Saturday evening.Mother nature moved the game back from a 1pm start to 6pm but it didn’t change the outcome from Friday as Mizzou lost 8-0.

Missouri pitching allowed four home runs to the Tigers from the Pelican State, and starter Brett Graves pitched just 4 innings in his shortest outing of the season.

Dane Opel extened his on-base streak to 16 games and the Tigers got nine hits to improve on their Friday night performance, but for the second straight game were unable to score a run.

Missouri and LSU finish their series Sunday with a 1pm first pitch.  Pregame begins at 1245pm with Hunter Mense and Tex Little on your home for the Tigers, ESPN 100.5 and total sports station 103.1 KTGR.
