Tigers Rebound with a Win

Missouri was back at home Wednesday evening to take on the Georgia Bulldogs and were able to get their season back on track.Without Lawrence Bowers for the second consecutive game, the Tigers saw the ball fall through the hoop with much more success with a 79-62 victory.

Mizzou used a balanced attack in their rotation to get 10 different players involved in the game Wednesday.  Tony Criswell and Stefan Jankovic got their first starts of the season.  The Tigers never trailed in the game and were only tied once at 2-2.

Jabari Brown and Earnest Ross led the Tigers with 15 points apiece.  They were two of five Tigers in double figures in the game.  Keion Bell (14), Alex Oriakhi (13) and Tony Criswell (10) also had double figures in points.  Oriakhi led the team with 8 rebounds and Phil Pressey, who only scored 5 points, had 6 assists to lead the team.

Missouri improves to 13-3 on the season and 2-1 in the SEC.  They head back on the road this weekend with a trip to Gainsville, FL to take on the number 10 Florida Gators.  Mizzou and Florida tip Saturday at 1pm with pregame beginning at 12:30pm.  You can catch all the action of the Tigers and Gators on your home for Mizzou basketball, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
