Coming off an impressive come from behind victory against South Carolina, Mizzou left little doubt in their game against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Missouri never trailed after starting the game trailing 11-8 as they raced to an 81-59 victory Saturday evening at Mizzou Arena.
After the slim deficit, Mizzou went on a 38-4 run to ice the game midway through the first half. Vanderbilt used a 16-2 run at the beginning of the second half to get within 18, but never got closer as the Tigers extended the lead once again on their way to the 22 point victory.
Continuing his impressive play since joining the team in late December, Jabari Brown raced his way to 21 points to lead all scorers. He was one of four Tigers in double figures in the game. Alex Oriakhi had 18 and Keion Bell and Phil Pressey each had 12. Oriakhi had 12 rebounds to lead the team once again while Pressey handed out 6 dimes.
