Tigers dropped by Texas A&M

Texas A&M raced to an 8-0 lead to start the game and never looked back in the Tigers trip to College Station, TX.Behind SEC player of the year candidate Kelsey Bone, Texas A&M defeated Missouri 77-58 Sunday afternoon.

Bone, the Big 12 Newcomer of the year last year, had 16 points and 10 rebounds while Adrienne Pratcher had 18 to pace the Aggies.  Missouri recovered to cut the lead to 1 after the 8-0 start, to make it a 10-9 on a Bri Kulas layup and free throw, but the Tigers could never get any closer.

Kulas was Missouri’s leading scorer in the game, putting up 12 points.  Sydney Crafton led the Tigers with 7 rebounds while Lianna Doty dished out 8 assists in the contest.

Missouri falls to 13-8 on the season and is now 2-5 on the year in the SEC.  Mizzou gets their next 3 games at home, starting with a Thursday contest against Florida beginning at 7pm.  Pregame begins at 6:45pm on your home for the Missouri Women’s Basketball team, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
