Still looking for their 16th win of the season, the Tigers took on an undermanned Vanderbilt team Thursday evening.The Tigers’ shots weren’t falling early and things went dowhill from there as Missouri fell to the Commodores 62-46.
The Tigers, who rely heavily on their outside shooting, shot just 4-27 for the game, a paltry 14.8%. The Commodores outrebounded Mizzou 36-27 to gain an advantage in the game.
Missouri had one player in double figures in the game with Sydney Crafton’s 20 points. The second leading scorer was Morgan Eye with 9 points on 3-13 shooting from behind the arc. Crafton also led the team in rebounds with 7 and Bri Kulas and Lianna Doty tied for the team lead in assists with 3.
Missouri falls to 15-10 on the season and are now 4-7 in the SEC. Missouri will look for a measure of revenge Sunday afternoon against the Arkansas Razorbacks, who beat the Tigers 58-50 earlier this season in Columbia.
