Alabama has been the number 1 team in the country throughout this season.  Now we know when they’ll make their arrival at Faurot Field.

Mizzou and Alabama has been set for a 2:30pm kickoff on CBS on October 13th.  It will be the second CBS start for the Tigers in their first SEC season.  Our coverage of the game will begin at 11:30am with Tiger Gameday presented by Tucker’s Fine Jewelry.

This will be the 4th meeting all time between the Tide and the Tigers.  Their last came in 1978, when Alabama (coached then by Bear Bryant) defeated Mizzou at Faurot 38-20.  Missouri actually leads the all time series 2-1, including an impressive 20-7 victory at Tuscaloosa in 1975.

The game will be the second straight home game for the Tigers, who welcome the Vanderbilt Commodores to Faurot Field this weekend for a 6pm kickoff.  Our coverage begins with Tiger Gameday presented by Tucker’s Fine Jewelry at 3pm as Will and Thom get you ready for all the action between the Tigers and the ‘Dores.  You can join them at the corner of Stadium and Champions Drive just outside the stadium.

You can hear all the action from Tiger Gameday and Mizzou/Vanderbilt on your home for Mizzou Athletics ESPN 100.5 KTGR.
