Strong Start fails Mizzou at Auburn
The Mizzou women were leading on the road in search of their 16th win of the season when things went awry.Mizzou saw their lead falter late in the second half as Auburn beat the Tigers 67-57 Sunday afternoon.
After leading by 10 at halftime 41-31, the Tigers struggled from the field again in the second half, scoring just 18 points in the last 20 minutes. Auburn pulled away late with a 36 point second half to gain the victory.
Morgan Eye continued to set records at Mizzou, hitting 6 three point shots in the game, becoming the first Tiger ever to hit 100 threes in a season. She now has 103 3-pointers on the year.
Eye led the team with 18 points in the game and Bri Kulas joined her in double figures with 14 points. Sydney Crafton was the team rebounding leader with 6 and Lianna Doty handed out 6 assists to lead the Tigers.
