The Kansas City Royals stumbled into the All-Star Break on a four-game losing skid, after the Cleveland Indians clinched a three-game sweep with a 6-4 victory Sunday.
The Royals blew leads of 2-1 and 4-3 in the finale, using a three-run sixth to take the lead for good. Asdrubal Cabrera doubled in the tying and go-ahead runs, coming home to score an insurance run on a Jason Kipnis single.
Tim Collins took his fifth loss of the season, giving James Shields another no decision.
The Royals go into the All-Star Break at 43-49, eight games behind the team they play first following the respite, the Detroit Tigers. Ervin Santana faces Anibal Sanchez when the teams resume play Friday in Kansas City.
