Royals Streak Hit 7 With Sweep Of Giants

The KC Royals are the hottest team in baseball as they have won 7 games in-a-row.

The Royals smashed 2 home runs in a 7-4 victory over San Fransisco at Kauffman Stadium. It was their 15th win in the last 18 ball games. Alex Gordon and Salvador Perez homered and Danny Duffy picked up the win going 6.2 giving up 3 hits and 4 ER and 4 Ks. Greg Holland recorded his 34th save of the season.

The Royals are now .5 back of Detroit for the AL Central lead and are in as a Wild Card team along with the Angels if the season ended today.

KC Manager Ned Yost talked about the win and his team’s streak.
