Road Struggles Continue for Tigers

It was an eerie sense of deja vu for the Tigers in Gainsville to start the game Saturday.  Missouri struggled to hit shots in the first four minutes of the game and found themselves trailing early.  Florida used the early momentum to springboard them to a 83-52 victory Saturday in Gainsville.

Much like the week before in Oxford, the Tigers found themselves down big early.  Last week it was 9-0 Ole Miss before the Tigers’ first basket.  Saturday, it was 11-0 Florida before Tony Criswell’s jumper got the Tigers on the board.

On a day where the numbers were as bleak as the final score, Keion Bell led the Tigers with 14 points as their only scorer in double figures.  Phil Pressey led the team with 6 assists, but saw that negated with a team high 10 (of the 21 total) turnovers.

Mizzou looks to rebound from their second consecutive road loss with a pair of games back at Mizzou Arena beginning on Tuesday against South Carolina.  The game tips at 6pm with pregame beginning at 5:30pm.  You can hear all the action on your home for the Missouri Tigers, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
