The St. Louis Rams traded up to get WR Tavon Austin at number eight overall, and then traded down to select LB Alec Ogletree

The Rams gave up picks number 16, 46, 78, and 222 for the Bills No. 8 and No. 71 overall. The Falcons took the Rams 22nd overall pick in exchange for the 30th overall selection () and picks in the third (92 overall) and sixth rounds (198 overall).

Austin caught 114 passes for 1289 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final season at West Virginia. Ogletree made 63 tackles in 10 games played in his final season at Georgia. He missed the first four games, including the September 8th game against Missouri due to a suspension for an off-the-field incident.

The Rams, barring a trade, do not have a second-round selection and won’t pick until the ninth pick of the third round, or number 71 overall.
