Tavon Austin had a career day with two receiving touchdowns and a punt-return score in the St. Louis Rams’ 38-8 rout of the Indianapolis Colts.
Austin’s two catching touchdowns were dwarfed by his 98-yard punt return touchdown, the first for the Rams since 2011. Elias Sports Bureau said Austin is just the third NFL player with three touchdowns of 55 yards or more (98, 57, 81).
Benny Cunnigham and Zac Stacy led a two-pronged rushing attack that gained more than 100 yards with Stacy rushing for score.
The Rams have a bye week before their next contest against the Chicago Bears on November 24th at the Edward Jones Dome.
