Rams get their Safety in McDonald

Other than Wide Reciever, the Rams came into the 2013 NFL Draft needing a safety.  In the pick they switched with Buffalo Bills in the Tavon Austin trade, the St. Louis Rams selected USC S T.J. McDonald 71st overall.

McDonald is the son of former St. Louis Cardinal, and former All-Pro player Tim McDonald.

With their first 3 picks, the Rams have addressed their major needs in the draft.  They pick next at number 92 with the 3rd round pick they recieved from Atlanta Thursday Evening.
