Neither the St. Louis Rams or Arizona Cardinals had won in over a month when the two met up Sunday Afternoon.The Cardinals last win came against the Dolphins back on September 30th while the Rams last won against Arizona on October 4th. The Rams changed that with a 31-17 win in the desert.
St. Louis trailed at halftime 17-14 when Jay Feeley kicked a 32 yard FG to give Arizona the lead. After the break, however, it was all St. Louis as Sam Bradford found Chris Givens for a 37 yard TD pass and Janoris Jenkins took his second INT of the day for a TD back 39 yards. Greg Zuerlein added a FG for the only score of the 4th quarter to tally the final points of the game.
On the day, Bradford was 8/17 for 205 yards and 2 TD’s while Steven Jackson delivered a great game, rushing for 139 yards on 24 carries. Chris Givens became Bradford’s favorite target of the day, catching 5 passes for 115 yards and a TD.
St. Louis is now 4-6-1 on the season and looks to keep their playoff hopes flickering when they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to the Edward Jones Dome this coming Sunday at noon.
