Rams fall to Packers

St. Louis hung with the Green Bay Packers through one half, but Aaron Rodgers put the game away in the second half.

Rodgers threw two TD passes to second year WR Randall Cobb and Mason Crosby added 2 second half FG’s to help Green Bay defeat the St. Louis Rams 30-20 Sunday afternoon.

Sam Bradford was 21/34 on the day, passing for 255 yards with one TD and one INT.  With Danny Amendola still out with a shoulder issue, Bradford found 7 different targets throughout the game.  Steven Jackson had 12 carries for 57 yards and 1 TD on the day to lead the Rams on the ground.  Greg Zuerlein shook off his poor showing in Miami to drill FG’s of 43 and 50 yards in the first half.

James Laurinaitis led the Rams on defense once again, picking up 14 tackles (including 13 solo tackles).

The loss drops the Rams to 3-4 on the season and the loss to the Packers was their 1st at home this season.  They’ll be crossing the pond this weekend to take on the New England Patriots next Sunday at Wembly Stadium in London, England.  Our pregame coverage comes your way at 11am with kickoff coming at noon on your home for the St. Louis Rams in Mid-Missouri, ESPN 100.5 KTGR.
