Rams Defense Holds Stout in Win

The Arizona Cardinals managed just 3 points and failed to score on three red zone possessions as the St. Louis Rams did enough on offense to win, 17-3, Thursday night.

The Rams forced seven punts, one missed field goal and a fumble late to seal the deal in their first home win over Arizona since 2004. Sam Bradford threw two touchdowns to Lance Kendricks and Chris Givens, despite his favorite target Danny Amendola leaving the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.

Steven Jackson turned in a more consistent game than last week against Seattle with 18 carries for 76 yards. Greg Zuerlein remained perfect on the season with his 13th field goal, hitting from 53 yards in the second quarter.

The Rams get ten days off before heading to Miami on October 14th for a 12 PM CT kickoff on KTGR.
