Pistons Waive Kim English

Posted by willp on July 11, 2013

Former Missouri guard Kim English became a roster casualty with the Detroit Pistons, as the team that drafted him cut ties with the 2012 second-round pick.

English averaged a shade more than six points-per-game in four contests during Detroit’s summer league, and with their addition of Chauncey Billups back to the roster, the Pistons were over the roster limit.

The former Tiger played in 41 games in his first NBA season, averaging 2.9 points per contest, after Detroit took him with the 44th overall pick in last year’s draft.
