The Rams started the game about as well as they could have hoped.  Then it all went downhill.

In the NFL’s annual game in London, the Rams and Patriots clashed at Wembly Stadium in London, England.  St. Louis got the ball first and scored on a 50 yard pass from Sam Bradford to Chris Givens.  The Rams held the lead at 7-0.  New England won the game 45-7.

Sam Bradford was 23/31 for 205 yards and both a TD and INT.  His counterpart, Tom Brady, was 23/35 for 304 yards and 4 TD’s.  He threw 2 TD’s each to former Rams WR Brandon Lloyd and TE Rob Gronkowski.  St. Louis was led in rushing by Daryl Richardson who had 53 yards on 7 carries.  Givens led the team in receiving with 3 catches for 63 yards and the one TD.

The Rams have the week off after crossing the pond this weekend.  They head into the bye week with a 3-5 record on the season.  When they return in 2 weeks, they’ll be in San Francisco to take on the division leading San Francisco 49ers.  The game will kick off at 3:25pm with our pregame coverage beginning at 2pm.  You can hear all the action on your home for the St. Louis Rams in Mid-Missouri, ESPN 100.5 and 103.1 KTGR.
