The Missouri Tigers had one player taken by an NBA team as the Phoenix Suns selected Alex Oriakhi with their 57th overall pick.

Oriakhi played one season at Missouri, scoring a career-high 11.2 points per game and grabbing 8.4 rebounds per game. The Lowell, MA native had 11 double-doubles, including a season-high 22 points and 18 rebounds against Ole Miss.

The 6-9 forward spent his first three seasons at Connecticut, but was allowed a waiver to transfer and play immediately at Missouri because of UConn’s postseason ineligibility.

Oriakhi joins Alex Len of Maryland (5th Overall) and Nemanja Nedovic (30th Overall) as Suns draft picks.
