No Concussion For Infante

A scary moment in the 7th inning as Omar Infante was struck in the left jaw by a pitch, he left under his own power but it took several stitches to close the gash on his face.

Alcides Escobar was the hitting hero for the Royals as he smacked a bases clearing double to blow open the game at Kaufman. Jason Vargas was stellar taking a shut out into the 9th inning.

Greg Holland picked up his third save of the season.

Omar Infante was struck in the face by a pitch in the 6th inning last night… good news that he did not suffer a concussion and more evaluations are being done by the Royals medical staff. If you haven’t seen the play, watch it here
