A police report filed by Columbia Police led to no charges being filed as a result of a woman accusing Missouri basketball player Michael Dixon of rape.
The report, first obtained by The Columbia Daily Tribune and the Kansas City Star, details explicit activities that allegedly occured on August 20th. On November 16th, Boone County Prosecutors concluded after their investigation that there was not “sufficient enough evidence to bring about criminal charges” against Dixon.
It is not known whether this report is related to the current suspension of Dixon from the basketball team. He has not played in a game this season for what Head Coach Frank Haith has called “a violation of team rules”.
