It wasn’t the same kind of offensive fireworks, but the Missouri women got it done again.
Morgan State kept it close for the first half but the Tigers used an 11-0 run to start the second half to pull away for a 75-50 victory Tuesday night at Mizzou Arena.
Mizzou led early in the game, a back and forth contest, that included Morgan State taking a 1 point lead halfway through the first half at 16-15. Missouri recaptured the lead shortly after on a Morgan Eye three pointer to make it 18-16 and the Tigers never looked back.
Bri Kulas had another double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the game. Morgan Eye hit another 6 three pointers to lead the Tigers in scoring with 18. Missouri saw 11 different players score and got 38 points (including Eye’s 18) off the bench.
Missouri returns to the court Thursday evening as they host the Murray State Racers at 7pm. Pregame begins at 645pm on your home for Missouri women’s basketball, ESPN 100.5 and Total Sports Station 103.1 KTGR.
