Missouri and Missouri State combined for 100 first half points but the Tigers pulled away in the second half.
5 Tigers were in double figures and the Bears shot just 48% from the field as the Tigers cruised to a 91-77 victory Thursday night.
Mizzou led just 51-49 at the half, but used a 40-28 second half advantage to pull away from the Bears. The game was Missouri’s third straight in scoring at least 80 points.
Morgan Eye came off the bench to lead the Tigers in scoring once again. She had 21 points, including 5 more 3 pointers, along with 5 rebounds. Along with Eye, Missouri saw Briana Kulas with 17, Liz Smith, Lianna Doty and Sydney Crafton with 14. Crafton led the team with 10 rebounds, and Doty led the team with 6 assists.
Missouri improves to 7-2 on the season and remains perfect at home in 2012-2013. The Tigers look to remain perfect at Mizzou Arena when they welcome the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions to Columbia saturday afternoon as part of a double header with the Mizzou men.
