The Missouri Tigers are headed for Dallas on Jan. 3 to play former Big 12 Conference mate Oklahoma State.
Missouri returns to the Cotton Bowl following an 11-2 regular season, tying the most wins in regular season history for the program. The Tigers represented the Big 12 in the Cotton Bowl in 2008, winning 38-7 over Arkansas with Tony Temple setting the game’s all-time rushing mark with 281 yards in the win.
The bowl is Missouri’s 11th New Year’s Day or later bowl in program history, and a win would tie the most single-season wins mark with the 2007 team.
There is a bit of different twist with this game, as Mizzou played the penultimate Classic at Cotton Bowl Stadium. The game has shifted to AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Missouri fans can order tickets beginning at noon CT on Monday, at mutigers.com or 1-800-CAT-PAWS
