The SEC coaches have picked the Missouri softball team to finish second behind Tennessee in the Eastern Division and fourth overall in the conference.

The Tigers return every starting position player with the exception of Ashley Fleming, and record-setting pitcher Chelsea Thomas is expected to shatter more marks in her fifth-year senior season.

Mizzou received a #8 ranking in the preseason USA Today/NFCA Top 25 poll last week, off their 47-15 campaign a year ago. The Tigers will be trying to avenge their season-ending Super Regional loss to LSU.

Missouri begins play for two weekends in California beginning February 15th and 21st, with their home opener coming on March 8th against Texas A&M.
