Missouri gave an emphatic answer to the question of whether or not they could win a road game Thursday night in Columbia, SC.Missouri took just 9 three point shots on the night and was 12 of their first 13 from the field in the second half to roll to a 90-68.
Missouri scored 46 points in the paint in the game and shot 69.6 percent from the field in the game. Mizzou was also 20/26 from the free throw line. Their largest lead in the game was 25 points when Tony Criswell hit a jumper midway through the second half.
Keion Bell was once again the team’s leading scorer, pouring in 24 points and adding 3 rebounds and 4 assitsts in the game. Tony Criswell and Phil Pressey tied for the team lead with 5 rebounds and Pressey was the team leader with 9 assists. Jabari Brown had 23 points while Alex Oriakhi added another 18 for Mizzou.
Mizzou is now 20-8 on the season and 9-6 in the SEC. The 20th win marks the 5th consecutive season the Tigers have won at least 20 games. They’ve got 3 games remaining, including a highly anticipated matchup against former head coach Mike Anderson and Arkansas next Tuesday.
