Glad the baseball season is finally here; now Miz baseball can take its’ place along with Miz basketball and football! Love Tex Little and Husdon Guthrie’s coverage of the games. I frequently remind my austin texas counterparts of how good mizzou is in all these sports. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Miz wrestling, swimming, and track. It really tickles me o see my old home town kikkin some big twelve rear in these sports. Finally, congrat’s to Mr AAron Senne on his new title, the all time leading doubles hitter fot the tigers.
BTW, I do believe those Aggies need glasses; it sounded like the umpires were confused as to where the strike zone was. Also, the Aggie batters, crouding the plate, didn’t hit the ball, they were hit by the ball. You guys do good work; makes me proud to be a columbia missouri born fan of MU sports!\

I hope, now that the weather is finally cooperating with us, the Tiger fans in Columbia will come out and support Mizzoui! This weekend, as the Tigers host the Baylor Bears, we need sorely to win these three games to stay in conference contention (dare I say the words….sweep?) AS for now, I will anxiously await the first pitch and listen for Hudson and Tex to provide the datails of another great Tiger baseball weekend! Until then, I’m on line and listening to KTGR for the details! Go Mizzou!

Gary and the other Texas Tigers!

  5. Gary, the Texas Tiger!

Mizzou is experiencing some limited success lately, but cannot continue to leave two and three people on base without capitalizing on the opportunity to score! I cannot “see ” the action but it appears that batters are trying to kill the ball rather than placing it out of the infield pushing base runners into scoring position. Finally, it sounds like the pitching staff is struggling with the need to control pitches better. I believe we have a team that be competitive with any in the big “12″ but need to take charge of the areas as we go deeper into conference play. BTW: Tigers are “very” good in defensive play.
Coach Jamison will get them clicking soon, I just hope it’s not to late to make a strong run in conference play! Incidentially, Hudson Guthrie and Tex Little are professionals, very good at “showing the game” to us who are relagated to following it on gametracker! Keep up the good work guys!!!
