Mizzou Baseball First Pitch Dinner Announced

The time and date for this year’s Mizzou Baseball First Pitch event has been set.
The ninth annual dinner will take place February 9, 2013. The festivities begin at 7pm and run until 9:30pm. The dinner will come after Missouri’s men’s basketball game against Ole Miss that same afternoon at noon.

The dinner will once again take place at the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia.

UPDATE 01/07/2013: It has been announced that former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Andy Benes will be the featured speaker for the event.  Benes won 155 games as a pitcher in MLB with a 3.97ERA in his 14 seasons.  He was an All-Star for the San Diego Padres in 1993 and finished 3rd in Cy Young voting as a member of the Cardinals in 1996 (behind Kevin Brown and winner John Smoltz).
