Many Mid-Missouri connections highlight the 2013 Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Inductees.
Bob Burchard makes the Hall after recently collectin his 600th win and is leading Columbia College to an undefeated season so far.
Also on the list, former Missouri two-sport star Phil Bradley, who played baseball and football for the Tigers from 1977-81. Bradley went on to play in the Major Leagues and was part of the 1978 football team that won at Nebraska.
A Tiger who preceded him, Fulton native Tony Galbreath makes the list as a former Missouri and NFL running back with the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings.
Former Chicago White Sox third baseman Westphalia’s Joe Crede is inducted. Joe played his High School ball at Fatima High School, and won the World Series with the Sox along with an All Star Game appearance in 2008.
Jefferson City Track Tandem Dennis and Roberta Licklider make the hall after building a long track-coaching tradition with the Jefferson Jays,
Camdenton physician Dr. Chris Leslie, and Long time Helias football coach Ray Hentges were also inducted to the Hall in Springfield.
Keith Webber who pitched for the Tigers in the 60’s and was from Jefferson City was posthumously inducted and former Jays football coach Pete Adkins was named the 25th Missouri legend.
