The Missouri Tigers have been assured home-field advantage throughout the first two rounds of the playoffs receiving a number six overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Missouri will play Stony Brook in the opening game of their host regional, with Oregon State and Hofstra making up the other first-day matchup Friday.
The Tigers are bidding for their first Women’s College World Series berth since 2011, after they were knocked out last year in the Super Regional round by LSU.
Missouri starts play at 6:30 Friday, would get a noon contest with a win and a chance to clinch the region at 1 PM Sunday.
Friday, May 17
4 p.m. – Game One: Oregon State vs. Hofstra
6:30 p.m. – Game Two: Mizzou vs. Stony Brook
Saturday, May 18
Noon – Game Three: Winner G1 vs. Winner G2
2:30 p.m. – Game Four: Loser G1 vs. Loser G2 (loser eliminated)
5 p.m. – Game Five: Loser G3 vs. Winner G4 (loser eliminated)
Sunday, May 19
1 p.m. – Game Six: Winner G3 vs. Winner G5
3:30 p.m. – Game Seven (if necessary)
