Mets Even Series With Three Home Runs

Shelby Miller struck out 10 batters, but it was the four runs and two home runs allowed that stood out more in a 5-1 victory for the New York Mets.

Lucas Duda and David Wright homered off Miller and Marlon Byrd hit a solo shot off Seth Maness, as the Mets won for just the second time in nine games.

St. Louis scored its lone run on a solo home run by Allen Craig, marking the second straight game with him going deep.

The rubber game of the three-game series is a matinee with a marquee pitching matchup. Adam Wainwright goes for the Cardinals against the Mets’ Matt Harvey. Listen to the game beginning at 11:15 AM on ESPN 100.5 and 103.1 KTGR.
