Hickman and Rock Bridge had home games in the first round of the playoffs Friday night.  Now, they’re on a collision course.

As heard on ESPN 100.5 KTGR’s game of the week, the Hickman Kewpies used 2 J’Den Cox fumbles in the first quarter to race to a 20-0 lead.  They’d never trail and won 34-14 over the Wentzville-Timberland Wolves.  Devin Lary carried the load on offense, rushing for touchdowns of 54 and 35 yards in the game.  Mason Murray was 3-5 for 43 yards in the game as well.

On the other side of town, Rock Bridge used its ground game to push the Troy Buchanon Trojans into submission.  Eli Caldwell-Stout scored twice and Logan Twehous and Kenny James each had a TD run as the Bruins beat the Trojans 34-0.  On the final play of the game, Shelby Wilson added insult to injury with a 96 yard INT return.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the Kewpies and the Bruins.  In their first meeting on September 21, Hickman defetaed Rock Bridge 22-21 on a missed FG as time expired.
