It started poorly for the Hickman Kewpies Friday night. Things never got better.Francis Howell scored early and they scored often as they upended the Kewpies 45-0 Friday night in St. Charles.
Howell scored on its first possession of the game, running 42 yards up the gut for an early 7-0 lead after two plays. By the end of the first quarter, it was 28-0 Howell.
Hickman had two fumbles in the first quarter alone and didn’t convert a first down until 6:20 was remaining in the first half. Howell forced the running clock with a score 49 seconds into the second half.
Hickman finishes the season 9-2.
