Hickman Defends Top Ranking

The Hickman Kewpies played for the first time since earning the number-one ranking in Class Five earning an 87-65 win over Jefferson City.

Jimmy Whitt led four players in double figures for the Kewpies with 28 points, with Cecil Williams and Chris Clark each adding 17. Mason Murray hit four three-pointers, scoring 14 points.

The game was the first for Hickman in 11 days, after drubbing Southern Boone on February 5th. The Kewpies play next at Helias on Friday.

Our final High School Hoops Game of the Week on KTGR features Rock Bridge hosting Rockhurst on February 15th. Coverage begins at 7:15 on that Friday night.
