Gordon Wins Second Gold Glove in Outfield
Major League Baseball announced Tuesday Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon won his second American League Gold Glove.
Gordon committed just two errors with a .994 fielding percentage, improving on a .991 mark in a Gold Glove season in 2011. The 28-year-old finished second in the league to his teammate Jeff Francoeur in outfield assists with 17.
Francoeur and his 19 assists were left off the Gold Glove roster in favor of Oakland’s Josh Reddick.
