Missouri QB James Franklin and RB Russell Hansbrough appeared on the Tigers’ injury report for their final regular season contest against Texas A&M.
Both players suffered concussions in Mizzou’s 31-27 loss to Syracuse, continuing an injury bug that has lasted much of the season. James Franklin has either been injured in, or had injuries affect his playing time in eight of Missouri’s 11 games this season.
Coach Gary Pinkel said in his Monday press conference Franklin will be evaluated again on Tuesday and he should have a good idea by Thursday morning whether both players will be able to suit up in College Station.
Missouri has won its last three games against Texas A&M, with the last two wins coming on the road at Kyle Field. The Tigers visit College Station Saturday, with Tiger Gameday coverage presented by Tucker’s Fine Jewelry on the Zimmer Sports Network beginning at 3 PM at J. Pfenny’s Sports Grill and Pub in Jefferson City.
