Join KTGR for the Special Olympics Summer Games!
The Special Olympics Missouri Summer Games is a chance for SOMO Athletes to shine in front of a crowd. It’s a culmination of their year of hard work. With Special Olympics Missouri Summer Games coming to Columbia, you have an opportunty to get involved as a fan or volunteer.
1,500 volunteers are needed from May 29th-June 1st to assure the event is a success.
Volunteers will be Timers, Escorts, Officials just to name a few.
Sporting events include Track & Field, Aquatics, Basketball, Bowling, Power Lifting, Volley Ball. Events will be held at the University of Missouri and Columbia College.
